"I have a 1986 Pearl grandfather clock that had the striker weight drum mechanism break. I found American and International Clock Repair online, looked at some of their reviews, and then contacted them to schedule a service call. They were quick to get me on the calendar and very flexible around my work schedule. Besides being punctual to arrive (specific time, not a range of hours), the problem was assessed and fixed quickly (I had purchased a new drum, thinking I could repair myself, or would have needed to order), then the clock was oiled and cleaned. Cost was very reasonable. Any issues with my Pearl grandfather clock in the future and I know who to contact. Highly recommend this family owned business."

"I had David visit to address a failing weight cable on my antique Tiffany an Co. grandfather clock. It was also due for an oiling. He showed up and looked over the clock and I decided to have him replace all three of the weight cables so he remove the Bawo & Dotter clockworks and took it with him back to the shop to do the repairs. He call on Christmas Eve and wanted to know if it was OK to show up to install or if I had holiday plans it would be interfering in. I told him to come and after arriving he had the clock works back installed in short order. He also replaced some parts that were put on by previous service workers that he pointed out were not correct. He is very knowledgeable about clocks and I ended up buying his book on the Bawo & Dotter clock company. I learned a lot about my clock and narrowed down the manufacture date from valuable information in the book. It was a pleasure meeting Dave and I would highly recommend him to anyone needing service on an old clock."

"We had David move a gifted Grandfather clock for us. He made the process easy and straightforward. He was helpful and explained all about our new clock while he was getting it set back up and the company he partners with for the cabinet moving was also phenomenal. We'll definitely have him back when the clock is scheduled for its next service."
